Turkey Hunts

Some of the biggest Easterns in the Country: We hunt turkeys in Missouri and Iowa and both states have some of the best turkey hunting in the country. Missouri has a 2 turkey limit, while Iowa is a 1 bird limit. Missouri allows us to hunt until 1:00 p.m., while Iowa permits all day hunting. The difference in the shooting hours makes for a great combo hunt. We hunt Missouri in the morning and Iowa in the afternoon/evening. During our spring turkey hunts we also offer crappie and bass fishing in a number of small lakes and ponds. We also have some of the best morel mushroom hunting in the country. Our turkeys averaged around 22 1/2 pounds for spring of 2006, with the largest bird weighing 27.2lbs. We took several good birds this past spring, including 4 with 1 1/2 inch spurs.
